New Mayor's Procession
Welcome The New Mayor of the Independent State of Cuckfield
After the Mayor's Procession through the village the newly elected Mayor of the Independent State of Cuckfield will be welcomed by the Sheriff of Cuckfield, traditionally the landlord of The Talbot, and is presented with the Keys of Cuckfield, plus a celebratory drink, before making an acceptance speech to their gathered subjects massed in the High Street.
