Sunday 2nd

The London to Brighton Vintage Car Rally which remembers the “Emancipation Run” from London to Brighton celebrating the passing into law of the "Locomotives on the Highway Act", which raised the speed limit for 'Light Locomotives' from 4 miles per hour to 14 mph and abolished the requirement to be preceded by a man on foot.

Friday 7th

Cuckfield Crafts and Market at the Queens Hall Cuckfield between 9.30am – 1.00pm. An eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary crafts, gifts, home made cakes and produce mixed with high quality trade stands offering home and garden accessories, soft furnishings, handbags and jewellery. Huge locally grown plant stall, coffee, tea, cakes and savouries available all morning.

Cuckfield Society Winter Lecture Queen’s Hall 7.30 for 8pm David Mortimer on Wildlife Preservation in Sussex.

Friday 21st

"From Burgess Hill to Cuckfield" - Cuckfield Museum's Champagne Lecture.

Mark Dudeney, who is a well known local historian, is guest speaker. Incorporating a slide show of the interesting things that can be seen on the journey between the towns, with special mention of Ansty, he will highlight the points of interest and refer to the historical features along the way, with anecdotes about the people and places.

Saturday 22nd

CEA - Beaujolais Brunch
