"Memories of a Cuckfield Butcher" - Cuckfield Musuem talk.

Peter Humphrey is the speaker for this afternoon talk. He came to Cuckfield in 1966. A member of a butchery and farming family he traded for 18 years at Seldons of Cuckfield and employed local people. He has many interesting tales to tell.

Friday 12th

Cuckfield Crafts and Market at the Queens Hall Cuckfield between 9.30am – 1.00pm. An eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary crafts, gifts, home made cakes and produce mixed with high quality trade stands offering home and garden accessories, soft furnishings, handbags and jewellery. Huge locally grown plant stall, coffee, tea, cakes and savouries available all morning.

Friday 12th

to 15th: CEA - Visit to Karlstadt. Cuckfield visits Karlstadt. Angela von Geldern is lining up a special programme for the 10th Anniversary of the Karlstadt link – to include a visit to Coburg and the chance to honour our good friend, Karl-Heinz Keller, who will by then have stood down after a distinguished and continuous 18 year period as mayor.
