Come to the Queen's Hall for the biggest and best jumble sale in the area! Includes cake stall and refreshments.

Dads' Cuckoos (Toddler Group)

Giant Book Sale
Cuckfield NSPCC will be holding another giant book sale in The Youth Club Hall, London Lane, Cuckfield on Saturday 13 March. Adult and children's books, paperbacks and hardbacks, fiction and non-fiction. Any books to sell very welcome - please bring to the hall on Friday 12th between 8.30am and 3pm or on Saturday before 9.30am.

Chatfield Residents Action Group (CRAG)
Application by Bellway for 44 properties on land in Chatfield Road. Please come along to support our on going fight to stop this over development. Despite CRAG succesfully forcing refusal at the Planning and at Appeal Bellway are relentlessly pursuing this development.This will have a detrimental impact on all of the residents of this beautiful village. This will affect the already overburdened infrastructure, Roads, Schools etc.Bylanes and other locations could be next to suffer this developer onslaught. This will harm the quality of life in Cuckfield if you don't want this to happen come along and support our campaign. At the Queens Hall

Local Food Market
Monthly (2nd sat of every month) food market of local produce in the courtyard of the Talbot Inn. Come and buy some delicious local cheeses, game, fish, organic vegetables, apple juice, jams, chutneys, cakes, bread, meat, poultry and more.

MOTHER'S DAY HIGH TEA
REEVES PANTRY & TRADITIONAL TEA ROOMS - Is your Mum special? Of course she is, so bring her to have tea with us on Mother's Day, 14th March. Our afternoon tea is already popular, but on Mother's Day we will be serving High Tea - mini quiche, finger sandwiches, mini scones, slices of cake, viennese biscuits, mini cup cakes and a small gift for your mum to enjoy just for herself. Tea will be served on our lovely tiered cake plates, just perfect to spoil your Mum - you know she deserves it! Pop in and see us or ring on 454690 to book your table - two sittings available starting at 2.30 p.m; we will be flexible with times where possible.

Sunday Brunch at Reeves Pantry
On Sunday 14th March we will be opening our doors for brunch, with choices such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, our full English breakfast and other variations, or if you would prefer something lighter, how about a fresh fruit platter, American stack of pancakes, or greek yoghurt served with soft fruit compote and a freshly made crunchy granola breakfast bar? Pop in and see us this week for more details and a look at our full Sunday menu.

New England Wood Trust Public Meeting
The Trustees of New England Wood will hold their annual Public Meeting in the upstairs committee room of the Old School. This an opportunity for the Village to meet the Trustees and hear the Chairman's report on management of the wood

Our year 9 students are hosting a tea party for the elderly members of the community. Please come along for tea and chat!

Cuckoos Committee Meeting

Friday 26th

Cuckfield Society AGM
Queen's hall Council Chamber. Come and find out about the work the Society has been undertaking over the past year and learn more about the opportunities and issues facing us for the year ahead. There are a large amount of contentious planning issues concerning the village at the moment including applications at Bylanes Close, Chatfield Road, Tentecroft and a potential waste site next to the bypass. These concern us all so come along and find out more.

Wednesday 31st

Warden Park Year 7 Spring Fair
Year 7 students invite you to their Spring Fair in the Assembly Hall. Attractions include a raffle with great prizes, tombolas, games, a cake stall and lots more. All funds raised will go to Junior House's chosen charity, Guide Dogs. Any donations for raffle or tombola prizes would be gratefully received and can be handed in to the reception between 08.30 and 16.00 Monday - Friday before the event.
