Bus services serving Cuckfield, starting 31 August 2021

Route 31 – Compass Travel.  Operates Cuckfield-Haywards Heath-Uckfield.  Buses towards Haywards Heath via Broad Street and Paddockhall Road should be numbered 31A.  They pick up in High Street near the Corner House generally at 37 minutes past the odd hours from 9.37.  But not at 15.37 except in school holidays.

Buses towards Haywards Heath via Hanlye Lane and Penlands Farm should be numbered 31.  They pick up in Broad Street by the car park generally at 32 minutes past the even hours.

 

Bus 62 – Compass Travel.  Operates Crawley-Balcombe-Cuckfield-Haywards Heath-Franklands Village.  Journeys to and from Warden Park School at school times are provided to and from Balcombe and Walstead.  In between those times, there is a very limited service to and from Balcombe and Crawley, only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

 

Bus 89 – Compass Travel.  Operates Horsham-Cuckfield-Haywards Heath.  Journeys to and from Horsham serve Warden Park School at school times.  In between those times, there are only a couple of return journeys, and only on Mondays, Wednesdays and FridaysThere is one later return journey Mondays to Fridays, at 16.30 from Horsham and 17.30 from Princess Royal Hospital.  The 89 will not operate at all on Saturdays.

 

Bus 271 – Metrobus.  Operates Crawley-Handcross-Cuckfield-Haywards Heath-Burgess Hill to Brighton, Royal Sussex County Hospital.  This runs daily, but only 4 journeys each way on Sundays.

All bus routes serve Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

The nearest mainline station is at Haywards Heath, with Balcombe also nearby. These are both on the main London to Brighton line and are served by the following rail operators:
