Cuckfield Pre-School Playgroup is a community pre-school group - we have been looking after generations of pre-school children in the village for over 45 years.

Children can start at 2 1/2 years old and build up the days they attend until moving onto school.

We have a well-trained and experienced team of staff providing care and education for children in a happy, relaxed and well-equiped environment.

Our last two Ofsted inspections have been rated 'Outstanding' (2007 and 2010)

The Victorian part of The Old School has been home to Next Step for the past 17 years during which time in addition to enjoying our beautiful surroundings we have acquired an allotment and an orchard which are maintained, and enjoyed, by the children. Apart from having an outside playground children are taken out every day (even if it is raining!).

Children join our Teddies Group in the term of their 3rd Birthday before joining the main Nursery.

We are open Monday to Friday 9.15am to 3.30pm term time only.

The new Norto5 KIDZ Academy in Cuckfield is a dedicated pre-school setting for 3-5 year olds.

The setting is open from 8am to 6pm during term time but children needing care all year will be offered available places at one of our other local childcare settings meaning you get the benefit of being able to get the care you need whenever you need it. We welcome all parents who would like to have a look around the setting and ask any questions. Please contact us and we will be happy to arrange a time to meet you.

Corrine and Mike Gould are proud providers of additional and specialised tuition in mathematics and social skills.

Mike offers mathematics tuition for primary and secondary aged children that focuses on building numeracy and mathematics skills that includes SATs and GCSE revision boosters.

Corrine offers a unique and special service to parents and families by providing, at your home, a listening and supportive ear, advice and social skills tuition to children and young adults with an autistic spectrum condition.

We own Tiny Soccerstars in Sussex and have been working in this field for over 6 years. We provide private sessions, pre-school/nursery sessions and after-school key stage 1 clubs. Each week we teach on average 160 boys and girls providing them with a wide range of ball skills which improve their agility, balance and co-ordination in a fun and exciting way. Our structured sessions run for 45 minutes during the week and Saturdays.

Weekday sessions run during term-time and Saturday sessions run throughout the year, which are hugely popular with dads.

Our sessions in nurseries, playgroups and schools have become very popular and are in high demand.

During the Easter and Summer holidays we organise and run weekday morning clubs in various locations. Call us for more details.
